I’m not sure what your idea of leisure is, but at Rec and Park, leisure means scaling 30-foot walls, learning to canoe through rough waters and taking part in any of the cutting-edge, heart-pounding recreation activities our department currently offers, including skateboarding, BMX bike riding, saltwater fishing, surfing and kayaking.
In just under a year, our Leisure Services division is quickly establishing itself as one of the go-to destinations for quality, non-traditional recreational programming including outdoor recreation, action sports, waterfront recreation, aquatics, adult fitness and alternative rec programs.
Want to spend an afternoon with the family on a geocache adventure, using the latest technology to guide you through an exciting nature treasure hunt? How about a women’s mountain bike boot camp or rock climbing lessons for the kids?
At Rec and Park, we pride ourselves on providing the type of quality classes and activities you’ve grown up with, but we’re equally excited about the new offerings our staff is providing that will pique your interest and get your heart pumping.
I invite all of you to check out our new Leisure Services division today. Log onto sfrecpark.org or click below to watch a short video.
